Antenna Head Fastening System

Antenna Head Fastening SystemAfter the antenna head was all finished, Drew and I needed to figure out how we were going to attach it to the main mast upright. The original plan called for 6 standoffs of equal length to be welded to the inside of all 6 sides of the triangles, and the outside of the main upright. It turns out however that finding the proper length for these standoffs requires a type of math I know nothing about. It was getting late, so the next morning this method of fastening was devised. It actually turned out to be a blessing, as the entire antenna head had to be lowered from the original design specs as the LMR wasn't long enough to reach from the bottom of the junction box to the bottom of the antennas, and this system allowed for the entire head to be lowered onsite.
