Looking for some hardware advise from the forum. I operate my pc from my sailboat on the bay (near Laurel street).

Tried a 9 Dbi omni-directional using a Dlink DWL-G520 PCI adaptor. Used a 30 ft section of RG-213/U to get to the antenna. The signal was very poor from the routers I could access.

Can anybody help me spec-out gear for a water-resistant long range setup? (antenna, bridge, power booster, etc)
