Netgate / Mini-Box WRAP based AP / relay Netgate / Mini-Box WRAP based AP - Inside ViewWe're going to install node #3 and #4 at the Barrio Logan Mercado site starting on Fri morning at 10am. We hope it will take about 3-4 hours. More details.

If you'd like to join in, please email for the details.

This installation will use the new Netgate configuration, http://www.netgate.com/product_info.php?products_id=175. We reviewed a simlar case/board combination at our website recently: http://socalfreenet.org/wrapbox.

Netgate / Mini-Box WRAP based AP / relay - rear view Netgate / Mini-Box WRAP based AP / relay with Antennas In case that's not enough excitement, we'll use m0n0wall for the first time in a relay radio. This is possible now that its most recent beta includes atheros chipset support and hence 802.11a support.

Yes, finally, a powerful web-based configuration tool for our common relay/AP configuration! (Note, though, this is the first beta with this support, so this is an experimental deployment!)
