It was convenient to run the outdoor rated cat-5 cable and grounding wire via the downspout. The cat-5 cable was then clamped off at the top of the spout exit and will be fastened just under the bottom of the building edge. The grounding wire is partially obscured by leaves, but it goes to the ground rod at the centre bottom.
